2022 will be another intense year for the energy sector. Parliament is debating the “Federal law on a secure power supply with renewable resources” (“Bundesgesetz über eine sichere Stromversorgung mit erneurebaren Energien”) and plans to make important decisions on strengthening the security of the power supply in Switzerland, particularly in winter. It will create the best possible framework conditions for decarbonization as well as determine measures to promote innovation and efficiency in the electricity system and involve end customers as active participants, either as prosumers or flexibility providers. A wide range of topics that will give participants plenty to talk about at the 2022 Powertage event. I’m looking forward to fascinating debates.
